The physical level is moderate and suitable for most travelers. The walks take place on flat terrain and at a very relaxed pace, since the idea is to stop and observe every detail. If you can walk around your city or enjoy a countryside stroll, this tour will be very comfortable for you.
Every day is a different surprise. The most common sightings include several species of monkeys, colorful birds, and caimans at night. If we are a little lucky and remain quiet, Lake Sandoval often rewards us with sightings of giant river otters, which are truly spectacular. The jungle always has something to reveal!
Definitely, and that is exactly what most of our travelers do. It is the perfect combination: first you recharge your energy and oxygen levels here in the jungle, and then you fly directly to Cusco to encounter the history of Machu Picchu. It is like experiencing two completely different worlds in a single journey.
The jungle is beautiful year-round, but if you can choose, the ideal time is between March and November. During these months, there is much less rain, the trails are drier, and it is easier to move through the forest. However, remember that we are in the jungle: a refreshing rain shower can happen at any moment, and that is part of the adventure!
This journey will not only allow you to discover incredible landscapes, but also connect with ancestral cultures that still preserve the living essence of the Peruvian Amazon.
