At the scheduled time, transfer to the airport for your flight to Puerto Maldonado, gateway to the Peruvian Amazon.

Upon arrival, reception by the lodge staff and land and river transfer to the eco-lodge located deep within the tropical rainforest.

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Cusco, the ancient capital of the Inca Empire.

The rest of the day will be free for altitude acclimatization (11,150 ft above sea level).

In the afternoon, we will begin the traditional Cusco City Tour, a perfect experience to discover the history, culture, and architecture of the ancient Inca capital.

We will visit:

• Qoricancha – Temple of the Sun: Considered the most important religious temple of the Inca Empire.
• Sacsayhuamán: An impressive ceremonial fortress built with massive perfectly fitted stone blocks.
• Qenqo: Ceremonial center used for religious rituals.
• Puka Pukara: Ancient military fortress and Inca control point.
• Tambomachay: Archaeological complex associated with water worship.

Full-day excursion to the marvelous Sacred Valley of the Incas, surrounded by mountains, rivers, and traditional villages.

Our first stop will be:

Pisac: Visit to the archaeological complex and its famous artisan market featuring textiles, jewelry, and Andean handicrafts.

The journey continues through the valley with views of:

At noon, a buffet lunch will be served in Urubamba.

During the afternoon, the visit continues in Ollantaytambo, one of the last living Inca towns and one of the most important fortresses of the Inca Empire.
After this experience, travelers board the tourist train to Aguas Calientes.

Very early in the morning, we will board the tourist bus to Machu Picchu Citadel.

Early morning departure from Cusco toward the impressive Rainbow Mountain.

During the journey, the route reveals:

Early departure toward the village of Mollepata.

After breakfast, the route continues to Soraypampa, the starting point of the hike to Humantay Lake.
